Story of the Inventor: Milton Snavely Hershey was born September 13, 1857 at Derry Church, in Pennsylvania. He died in 1945 at Hershey, Pennsylvania. Hershey was successful buisnessman. Hershey was the first practical Entrepreneur. Hershey's nationality was American. He was a chocolatier, philanthropist.

 

 

 

 

Story of the Invention:It was at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, that Hershey first became interested in the  art of making chocolate making. When he became facinatinated with chocolate, he purhased some German machinerey. He had it shipped to Lancaster, and began producing chocolate coatings for his carmel. He soon started the Hershey Company. Demand  for chocolate was high.

 

 

 

 

Story of the Impact of the Invention:He gave his fortune to charities. He never regretted making the candy bar. The company, products, town, and institution that used his product were well placed  to continue and grow. 

 

 

 

 

Story of the Future of the Invention: We think that this invention  will go into more complicated forms  of chocolate. The chocolate may someday have ice cream in it.
